The public impeachment inquiry Tuesday featuring Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was "tedious, boring," save for the fact there is "nothing there," and President Donald Trump should let it die the death it is headed for, according to Bill O'Reilly on Newsmax TV.
"This whole thing is going to go away as I predicted," O'Reilly told Tuesday's "The Wayne Allyn Root Show." "The president is not going to be removed.
"He should stay out of it at this point, not tweet anything at this point. He should say, 'It's a farce, I'm done with it, let the process unfold,' because the process is going to go to the Senate, and it's going to die there."
O'Reilly says looking into corruption in Ukraine – even if it was related to former Vice President Joe Biden – is completely justifiable and American people should know about it.
"The whole thing is a farce, and the American people know it," O'Reilly said in his Talking Points Memo.
"There's nothing there," he continued. "What is it? What are you trying to say the president on the United States did?"
O'Reilly added the revelations – or non-newsworthy items as they are – from the testimony to date are part of mainstream media's coordinated effort with House Democrats to keep the American people in the dark on allegations of 2016 election meddling on the part of Ukraine actors for the benefit of Democrats against then-candidate Trump.
"You don't know what's going on, because the press doesn't report honestly about it," O'Reilly said.
