Kellyanne Conway: Social Media Is 'Not Real Life'

Kellyanne Conway on Thursday urged college students to get off social media and have face-to-face chats with people.

"Don't live online, live in real time," Conway, a counselor to President Donald Trump, said during an interview at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland.

"Make sure people see something other than the top of your head."

Conway said social media is "not real life" and urged students to "have a conversation with people."

She did not mention the president's habit of tweeting out his thoughts at all hours of the day and night.

Conway's appearance came on the second day of the four-day CPAC event at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor. Other speakers will include Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and Sens. Ted Cruz and Scott Walker.
