CNN's early entrance polls in Nevada's caucuses revealed most Democrats are saying they are more interested in defeating President Donald Trump than in any other issue such as healthcare.

About half of the Latino Democratic caucusgoers support Sen. Bernie Sanders, I- Vt., the early polls showed, with one in 10 supporting each for former Vice President Joe Biden, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and businessman Tom Steyer, reports CNN. Sen Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., had slightly lower support.

With black caucusgoers, about a third support Biden, ¼ favor Sanders, and another one in 8 supported each for Steyer and Warren.

The entrance polls also showed a more diverse voting population than in the first two nominating contests in Iowa and New Hampshire:

  • 66% Democratic caucusgoers identified as white.
  • 20% said they are Hispanic or Latino.
  • 10% said they are black.

Meanwhile, when it comes to what is most important:

  • 66% said it is most important to pick a candidate who can defeat Trump.
  • 40% chose healthcare.
  • 25% chose climate change.
  • 1 in 6 chose income inequality.
  • 1 in 10 chose foreign policy.

Meanwhile, the Culinary Union, representing more than 60,000 hotel and casino workers, said it is not endorsing any candidates, but made it clear it does not support the "Medicare for All" plan Sanders backs.

Biden, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Buttigieg all say they want to add a government-run insurance option while allowing unions and employers to keep private coverage.
