Christina Bobb to Newsmax: DA Willis Likely Violated Ethics Code

By    |   Monday, 22 January 2024 10:24 PM EST

Democrat Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis likely violated professional codes of ethics and personal responsibility, if allegations surrounding her prosecution of former President Donald Trump are true, Christina Bobb, an attorney representing Trump's Save America PAC, told Newsmax on Monday.

Willis has been accused of having an improper clandestine relationship with Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor she hired for her 2020 Georgia election interference case against Trump. Wade, a private attorney, also has been accused of paying for lavish vacations he took with Willis using the Fulton County funds his law firm received. Further, Willis' office has been accused of coordinating with the Biden White House on prosecuting Trump. Willis and Wade have not directly addressed the allegations.

"There are so many potential issues here, not just illegality and potential criminal cases if she actually is getting kickbacks and whatever she's doing with the money that she's giving to her boyfriend, as well as the potential illegal coordination with the Biden administration," Robb told "Eric Bolling The Balance." "But then you also have ethical issues, and the professional code of conduct of attorneys. And lying.

"We've heard it pounded into our brains that there was no coordination with the Biden administration. All of these [cases against Trump] are completely independent, and just so happened to be spontaneously arising at the same time. Well, now we're saying that that might not be true. Every attorney has to abide by a code of ethics and the code of professional responsibility, and it looks like she may be in violation of that. I'm real curious to see where this goes."
