Supporters at a rally for President Donald Trump on Tuesday shouted out with chants of "bullsh**" after the president slammed the ongoing impeachment investigation.
"They're pushing that impeachment witch hunt, and a lot of bad things are happening to them," Trump told rallygoers. "Because you see what's happening with the polls? Everybody said, 'That’s really bullsh**.'"
Trump spoke at a rally in Sunrise, Florida, where he compared the impeachment proceedings to former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
"The radical left Democrats are trying to rip our nation apart. First, it was the Russia hoax, total hoax," Trump said. "The Mueller deal, you remember that mess? They had nothing. Two years they spent, $45 million, and the real cost is many times that number.
"Now, the same maniacs are pushing the deranged impeachment," Trump said.
The crowd cheered for nearly 30 seconds with chants of "bullsh**, bullsh**" for nearly 30 seconds after Trump made the comment about the polls.
Later, supporters started chanting, "lock her up" after Trump ripped 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
