After 11th-hour allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh effectively delayed a Senate Judiciary Committee vote that was originally scheduled for Thursday, former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer put the reverse kibosh on the next Democratic stall tactic.
Fleischer predicted Christine Blasey Ford's refusal to submit testimony before the panel – or to Chairman Chuck Grassley's, R-Iowa, staff – will last only long enough to force yet another delay from a vote which was pushed back to next week.
"Don't be surprised if Professor Ford continues her refusal to talk to the Judiciary Committee," Fleischer tweeted Thursday. "Chairman Grassley will then announce a date for the vote. The night before the vote is to take place, Dr. Ford will say she is willing to speak, throwing the vote into chaos."
Fleischer is among many rebuking the resistance and obstructionist Democrats weaponizing Ford's allegations against Judge Kavanaugh's confirmation for the Supreme Court.
Disgraced former Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore said Democrats weaponize 11th-hour allegations not because they seek "transparency," but "because it's effective."
Also, the son of former President Ronald Reagan, Michael Reagan, told Newsmax TV that Democrats are "using" Ford as "a ruse by the Democrats once again to stop Donald Trump at any cost."
Grassley's office has imposed a Friday 10 a.m. ET deadline for Ford or her attorneys to declare her next intentions.
