A woman who attended Yale University with Brett Kavanaugh is calling on the FBI to investigate an incident where she says the Supreme Court nominee exposed himself to her during a drunken dormitory party in the 1980s, forcing her to touch his penis, The New Yorker reported Sunday.
It’s the second claim of sexual misconduct lodged against Kavanaugh, who is to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee this Thursday about an allegation of sexual assault against him dating to his days as a high school student in the early 1980s. The accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, has agreed to go before the committee to tell her story.
Deborah Ramirez, who studied sociology and psychology at Yale, says the incident occurred during the 1983-1984 academic school year, when Kavanaugh was a freshman. According to the New Yorker report from Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer, Ramirez was hesitant to go public with the claim because her memories “contained gaps because she had been drinking at the time of the” incident.
After six days of "carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her attorney," Ramirez felt confident in her recollections. She believes an FBI investigation into the alleged incident is warranted.

Stormy Daniels‘ lawyer Michael Avenatti on Sunday also tweeted that he represents a woman with “credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge.”
At least four Democratic senators learned of Ramirez' allegation last week through a civil rights attorney, and two have started investigating the claim, per the New Yorker. Senior Republican staffers expressed concern about the potential impact of the claim on Kavanaugh’s nomination after learning about it.
Ramirez alleges that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a college party, where they had both been drinking, "thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away."
"I wasn't going to touch a penis until I was married," Ramirez said of the incident. "I was embarrassed and ashamed and humiliated." She told the New Yorker that she remembers Kavanaugh standing to her right and laughing, pulling up his pants. "Brett was laughing," she said. "I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants."
“This is another serious, credible, and disturbing allegation against Brett Kavanaugh. It should be fully investigated,” Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, told the New Yorker.
In a statement, Kavanaugh described Ramirez's allegation as a "smear."
"This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so," Kavanaugh said. "This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name--and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building--against these last-minute allegations."
The White House also stood by Kavanaugh.
"This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats designed to tear down a good man,” Kerri Kupec said. “This claim is denied by all who were said to be present and is wholly inconsistent with what many women and men who knew Judge Kavanaugh at the time in college say. The White House stands firmly behind Judge Kavanaugh."
Blasey Ford says Kavanaugh assaulted her at a high school house party when they were teenagers, pinning her on a bed and attempting to take her clothes off. Blasey Ford, who has been forced into hiding after receiving death threats, will testify Thursday before the Senate regarding her accusations.
