Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., was re-elected Tuesday night over his Republican challenger Bob Hugin.
Several media outlets called the race around 9 p.m. ET.
Menendez was tried on federal corruption charges in 2017, but his trial ended in a hung jury. In January, all charges against Menendez were dropped by the Department of Justice.
Menendez never trailed in the polling average during his campaign, with the final numbers showing he had an 11-point lead heading into Tuesday's election.
