Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., says he has yet to get a call from President Donald Trump amid their bitter feud — but he has "gotta believe" they will eventually talk.

In an interview with Politico, Corker said Vice President Mike Pence, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have all dialed in.

"As always, some occasion will rise," Corker told Politico. "I'll be here another 15 months. I gotta believe I'll talk to the president again."

Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is retiring after 2018 — and has been notably blunt in his critique of Trump's "volatility."

"I made the comments. I wasn't expecting anything in particular," Corker said of his public remarks, which began in August with criticism the president had not yet exhibited the "stability" or "some of the competence" to lead the nation.

Corker also said the White House was in a "downward spiral" and Tillerson was helping protect the world from "chaos."

"You know, it's been building for a long time," he told Politico. "It's been building over the last four months. Many of the things I've said publicly. I've had private conversations, too. So that's kind of where we are. It's been a week. We'll see."
