Trump adviser and former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski says Joe Biden should have had the ''wherewithal and tenacity'' to step forward and tell the American people that the Russia collusion narrative was a hoax.
Lewandowski, discussing Michael Flynn’s pardon Wednesday by President Donald Trump during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s "American Agenda,'' also suggested that there are two separate sets of rules — ''one if you’re a Hillary Clinton supporter, one if you’re a Donald Trump supporter'' when it comes to the FBI.
''We know that the 302s [prosecutors] at the FBI went back and wrote almost six months after they interviewed Mike Flynn, indicated that Mike Flynn never lied to the FBI,'' Lewandowski said.
''We know that Andy McCabe, the former acting director of the FBI, lied under oath on three separate occasions and was never referred to a criminal referral. But then they went out and they prosecuted Mike Flynn under something called the Logan Act.
"The scariest thing to me was that, the president-elect, if you will, Joe Biden, knew in January of 2017 after Donald Trump had won that this whole Russia collusion narrative was a made-up facade and never once in the last three years did Joe Biden have the wherewithal or the tenacity to step forward and tell the American people that he knew the whole thing was a hoax,'' Lewandowski added.
''He allowed this to be perpetrated against Michael Flynn and his family.''
