Scaramucci: Harvard, Tufts Have Spurned Me

Anthony ‘The Mooch’ Scaramucci says his tumultuous 10-day stint as White House communications director has triggered two top schools he graduated from to turn their backs on him.

"My own alma maters, Tufts University and Harvard Law School, have effectively disowned me," Scaramucci told students at an event sponsored by the Columbia University College Republicans, who he thanked for being more open-minded in welcoming him.

Scaramucci, who was ousted from his job after a profanity-filled tirade in The New Yorker, also said he believes President Donald Trump is beginning to temper his own colorful rhetoric because of pressure from establishment politicians.

"The swamp got a hold of him and the swamp is trying to contain him," Scaramucci told the group, according to The Columbia Spectator.

He also said millennials are responsible for solving the political problems inherent in the two-party system.

"It’s ... really your generations in my opinion that [are] going to change everything," Scaramucci said.

"It’s the millennial generation that hopefully is going to pull the plug on the great polarity, and get us back to the discussions we need, which [are] the discussions on civil liberties, the discussion on national security, on infrastructure, on our educational system."

Last week, Scaramucci profanely accused former chief of staff Reince Priebus of sabotaging his career and given him a crude scatological nickname.

Scaramucci, in an explosive interview published in Vanity Fair, referred to Priebus as "Rancid Penis" and says that after promising to "do everything I can to help you," Priebus stabbed him in the back.

"That's what they do to you, they say, 'golly gee' to your face and they act like Richie Cunningham to your face. They're Richie Cunningham and they're Opie from 'The Andy Griffith Show,' but they're the [expletive] Sith Lord behind your back. They're hitting you with a lightsaber behind your back," he told the magazine.

According to Scaramucci, Priebus was "very jealous" of his "close relationship" to President Donald Trump.
