A record number of House GOP retirements has put the already-fragile GOP majority in dire peril, GOP strategists warn.
So far, 33 House Republicans — including some of the party's most powerful members — have announced they'll be retiring at the end of their current terms. Only 16 House Democrats, by contrast, have announced they'll vacate their seats. Republicans currently have a 24-seat advantage.
