A global philanthropist rebuilding the decimated lives of Christians persecuted by ISIS in northern Iraq is calling for Vice President Mike Pence to visit Mosul personally to witness the devastation ISIS inflicted on ancient religious communities there.
New York-based investor-philanthropist Amed Khan, who returned from his latest charitable relief visit to Mosul earlier this week, estimates 1 million Iraqis remain displaced. That number includes some 100,000 to 150,000 Christians who lost their homes and would like to move back, he says.
