Gordon Chang: Kim 'Playing' Trump as Pompeo Begins Talks

(Newsmax TV's "Newsmax Now")

By    |   Thursday, 05 July 2018 08:09 PM

Author Gordon Chang told Newsmax TV on Thursday that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was "playing" President Donald Trump — as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo began new talks in Pyongyang — because Trump "changed his tactics" leading up to last month's summit.

"Up through the end of May, Trump was pushing Kim Jong Un around," Chang, who is an expert in Asian affairs, told "Newsmax Now" guest hosts Rob Astorino and Audrea Taylor Decker in an interview.
