14 States Wide Open to Russian Hacking in November, Experts Warn

Fourteen states will conduct midterm elections this year using voting systems that are extremely vulnerable to hacking, election-integrity experts warn.

According to VerifiedVoting.org, a non-profit organization that promotes accurate and credible elections, state-level election officials have largely failed to significantly bolster election security since the controversy over Russian election interference erupted in 2016.
