Fla. Recount Likely Heading to US Supreme Court, Analysts Say

Florida’s growing post-election chaos -- rife with ballot mix-ups, legal challenges, voting-machine malfunctions, and deadline extensions -- appears increasingly likely to follow the precedent of the bitterly partisan Bush v. Gore case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. 

The latest twist: U.S. Judge Mark Walker ruled Thursday afternoon he will not suspend the Thursday deadline for counties to complete their recounts.
