Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn characterized Georgia Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff on Newsmax TV on Wednesday as the ''two most leftist Senate candidates that Chuck Schumer has ever come up with.''
After referring to 33-year-old Ossoff, who graduated from the elite private Paideia School and Georgetown University as a ''trust-fund socialist,'' Blackburn questioned how Warnock, senior pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, could take the oath of office of senator after revelations of comments he made while giving a sermon in 2011.
