Help Wanted: New NSC Staffers

Thanks so much for being one of the greatest presidents in American history. What you have accomplished in rebuilding U.S. military strength, economic growth, border protection, and exposing leftist “fake news” is truly amazing.

Even more amazing is that you accomplished most things on your own, often with little or no help from Republicans in Congress, and despite opposition from Democrats so fanatical they are shredding the Constitution with fake impeachment and a real attempted coup d’etat to stop your progress.

But Mr. President, you would achieve even faster progress making America great again if your own administration running the U.S. Government — and especially your own White House staff on the National Security Council (NSC) — supports your agenda.

The high honor and privilege of serving your White House on the NSC is enjoyed by just 300 people, out of a nation of 330 million Americans. Your NSC should be the best that can be recruited from everywhere in America — not limited to Washington “swamp creatures.”

Yet for weeks, America has witnessed on national television a parade of Trump Administration White House NSC staffers and ambassadors opposing your foreign policy, trying to help Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff’s illegal effort to impeach you. (I do not call them “Speaker” Pelosi or “Rep.” Schiff because these honorifics are undeserved by those who betray the Constitution and the American people.)

Mr. President, what we witnessed on TV proves America’s best and brightest are not serving on your NSC staff or in your State Department. America deserves much better.

Mr. President, even though you are in the last year of your first term and will soon be running for re-election, it is not too late, indeed it is imperative, that you clean house and staff your administration with much better people who are personally committed to your policies, and not part of “the resistance.”

A lot can happen over the next year. Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran are likely to test you, to exploit our deeply divided nation, perhaps even do something very frightening and dangerous to thwart your re-election.

Mr. President, you must root out and replace the “swamp creatures” now, in case the worst happens. In a confrontation with Russia, China, North Korea, or Iran, the leakers and traitors, who are obviously now too numerous in your administration, could betray America’s vital interests and very survival.

Mr. President, some helpful hints on hiring NSC staffers:

— No Obama-holdovers.

— No “Never Trumpers” of either party.

— No Deep State “business as usual” permanent bureaucrats.

Mr. President, be leery of anyone who lives and works in Washington, D.C., except those with proven anti-establishment views, like yourself.

“Natural Trumpers” are what I call anti-establishment conservative activists who have been fighting for years, before your election, to make America great again. Many are the ragtag remnants of the Reagan Revolution, always vastly outnumbered by “the swamp” and always underfunded or working as unpaid volunteers — but highly effective and often victorious in their David versus Goliath struggle against the Washington leviathan.

Frankly, I am surprised that you did not, from the beginning, staff your White House and administration entirely with people I consider to be “Natural Trumpers,” such as:

— Ambassador R. James Woolsey, former Director of Central Intelligence, who defied Washington’s national security establishment to support a Trump presidency.

— Ambassador Henry Cooper, former Director of the Strategic Defense Initiative, champion of your U.S. Space Force having teeth, becoming a space-based missile shield.

— Lt. General Steven Kwast, “retired” from the USAF for supporting Trump’s U.S. Space Force.

— Frank Gaffney, Clare Lopez, and Major Tommy Waller of the Center for Security Policy, who work tirelessly to advance Trump foreign and defense policies, sometimes against your own NSC, State, and Defense Departments.

— Cynthia Ayers (former NSA), Thomas Popik (Foundation for Resilient Societies), and Sergeant Major Mike Mabee (CivilDefenseBook).

“Natural Trumpers” all.

These and hundreds of others have worked for an anti-establishment “Trump Revolution” long before you ran for president, and continue to fight — often against your own administration — as outsiders. Why are these smart, loyal “Natural Trumpers” and hundreds of others like them from “flyover America” not inside your administration?

Mr. President, still among your smartest and most eloquent champions are Fred Fleitz, Sebastian Gorka, and K.T. McFarland — among your best and brightest White House staff waylaid by “the swamp” — now exiled to the Lou Dobbs Show. Please bring them back.

Finally, Mr. President, thank you for your “Executive Order on Coordinating National Resilience to Electromagnetic Pulses” (March 26, 2019) that seeks to implement the recommendations of the EMP Commission. Strange that your Defense Department defunded the EMP Commission and did not seek its continuation to help achieve national preparedness.

Stranger still that your Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security are relying on the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) to implement your EMP Executive Order. EPRI is a lobby for the electric utilities, opposed your EMP Executive Order, and still argues EMP is not an existential threat.

Smells like “the swamp” to me.
