American presidents rarely lose re-election.
It has only happened 10 times in the history of our Republic.
The current pandemic caused a catastrophic global health crisis, one with far reaching consequences for everyone. It also led to President Trump losing his bid for reelection.
If anyone tells you that campaigns and political tactics don’t matter, you should study the 2020 Presidential campaign. The Trump administration was enormously effective in dealing with the current public health crisis.
Globally speaking, our nation has fared much better than others
The United States has managed to preside over one of the largest periods of economic prosperity in history. However, the Biden campaign dexterously manipulated coronavirus into several grand slam home runs to win an election they would have otherwise lost easily.
Pre-COVID-19, Joe Biden wasn’t going to successfully run a campaign focusing on the Russia hoax or a roaring economy that most Americans hadn’t seen or experienced in their lifetimes, with unprecedented wage growth across most segments.
COVID-19 became Biden’s signature issue, most improbably swooping him into the White House. While the pandemic was the political weapon that Team Biden needed to win the presidency, it may well also be the issue making Joe Biden the 111th president to lose re-election.
Biden’s bureaucrats are too busy trying to implement their grand vision of a permanent "new normal," one that will purpotedly "transform" society, instead of getting to work on those drastic hardships faced by the majority of American families.
We're barely a week into the Biden presidency and this administration is thus far demonstrating a laser-like focus on rewarding special interest groups; those helping him to win the White House.
So far, the Biden administration has addressed the pandemic by strictly adhering to even the most unreasonable demands of Trump haters — are we really rejoining the World Health Organization (WHO), especially after they may have misrepresented everything they knew about COVID19?
For this administration to survive, Team Biden must demonstrate to the American people that it's serious about helping us recover from the disastrous effects of the virus and correct their heretofore nonsensical approach.
—Its' Time to Re-open Our Nation's Schools. Pandering to the insane demands of delusional teachers unions by keeping our schools closed will only serve in weakening a generation of students, and their families. America is the land of opportunity; free public education for everyone is a foundational basis for providing opportunities to advance.
School closings disproportionately harm families with lower incomes as well as immigrants and minorities. How many potential future brilliant doctors and scientists are we canceling by not allowing them to go to school to learn?
The remote learning" experiment has morphed into an unmitigated disaster for most students without access to the latest expensive gadgets and expensive tutors, as well as for families whose parents aren’t able to take off large amounts of time from work.
We’ve all heard the nightmare stories about suicides skyrocketing because children feel isolated, parents having to choose between working and putting food on the table or making sure their children get an education.
To be clearer, one parent told me about an elementary school teacher who refuses to do live instruction but posts assignments for the students to work on themselves.
If we believe and rely on science, then we know that the risk of transmission for teachers in a school setting is extremely low. We also know that private schools are operating just fine.
Most public school teachers are very hard working and not primarily motivated by money, they care very much for their students and want to get back into school.
Therefore, the Biden administration must demonstrate some courage and tell teachers unions that their long sabbatical is over. It's time to get back to work.
—Re-open All Businesses Now. Inherent in the the beauty of the American system is that government doesn;t get to choose or declare winners and losers in the marketplace.
While governors shouldn’t necessarily be blamed for instituting some form of lockdowns at the beginning of this crisis (right or wrong that was the prevailing global scientific consensus), it's time for the Biden administration to intervene and provide a stark reality check to governors and mayors who are exhibiting dictatorial aspirations by continuing and expanding lockdowns.
A scenario crushing independently owned businesses, especially restaurants.
States with the strictest lockdowns are seeing coronavirus infections spike while they are simultaneously bankrupting millions of working-class families and entrepreneurs.
The Biden administration can reverse this overnight. It must do so immediately.
—Remand Dr. Anthony Fauci, From the Greenroom to the Lab. There is a new coronavirus "lockdown" we should try. Behind the scenes, Dr. Fauci may indeed be a brilliant scientist, but he should no longer be encouraged to provide misinformation to millions of people who rely on science to make their healthcare decisions.
Dr. Fauci may have (as he now claims) incorrectly advised Americans about masks not working because there was a mask shortage, but perhaps he didn’t realize that people likely relied on his representations long after masks became more widely available.
Now he tells us that we should wear multiple masks (something that could lead to a new shortage of masks) and that even if vaccinated, people shouldn't travel.
Curiously, at the onset of the coronavirus in the United States, Dr. Fauci vehemently opposed a travel ban that saved lives. Dr. Fauci is a highly acclaimed scientist, he is not a public policy expert or a communications expert.
His public health policy recommendations are causing widespread confusion and panic.
If they are not reigned in we amy well see an undermining of confidence in government issued health guidelines.
Using a global pandemic to gleefully trash a president during a world health catastrophe helped make Joe Biden president.
The American people are physically and emotionally exhausted with the political theater surrounding the virus. Americans just want their lives back and if the Biden administration isn’t wired to understand that, Joe Biden will almost certainly become the eleventh President to lose re-election.
