Tom Fitton: Ruling Means Judicial Watch to Put Huma, Mills and Eventually Hillary Under Oath

A federal judge's ruling Tuesday in the Clinton email scandal means that Judicial Watch can put several key State Department aides — and eventually former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — under oath, President Tom Fitton told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"Now, we're going to put people under oath," Fitton told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview. "The officials who have avoided accountability and answering questions — like Patrick Kennedy, Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills — we are going to have a straightforward process for getting answers under oath for the questions about what went on with the Clinton email server."

Fitton said that Judicial Watch's lawsuit is seeking all of the emails that were on Clinton's private email server.

"The dispute is whether Hillary gave all the records that she should've given back to the State Department," he said. "She only gave half of those records. We believe all of those records should've been reviewed and searched."

Even Clinton herself, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, could be subpoenaed in the lawsuit, Fitton said.

"She's not on the initial list perhaps, but certainly as the discovery progresses, it may be necessary for her to provide testimony or information so that the court can determine legal issues beforehand."
