President Donald Trump might have outlined his tax-reform plan Wednesday, but Republicans "still don't have a plan," economist Stephen Moore told Newsmax TV.
"This shouldn't be hard," Moore, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told "Newsmax Now" host Bill Tucker. "As Republicans, cutting taxes is right in the strikes.
"It's what Republicans are about," he added. "It's cutting people's taxes. Trump talked about this.
"Got to cut taxes for businesses. We've got to cut taxes for families to create more jobs, put more money in the hands of the American people.
"That's an easy message to get out to people."

Moore said President Trump delivered "a good speech" in Springfield, Missouri, "but there was no specifics about what is the plan.
"At some point, you need legislation — and they don't have that yet."
Given the busy schedule Congress faces when it returns from its August recess next week, Moore told Tucker that "I'm just worried the Republicans are going to run out the clock.
"They've got to pass an aid bill; they've got to pass debt-ceiling.
"Probably, they're going to put all the spending into one bill," he added. "Republicans were irresponsible to take a whole month off in August."
