Hillary Clinton will continue to separate herself from the Obama White House by arguing that the world was more peaceful during her reign as secretary of State, Republican strategist Jimmy LaSalvia predicts.
"She's going to try to make the case that she was the only thing holding it together and that it all broke loose when she left,'' LaSalvia said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"It has been the last year that so many of these [world] issues have risen up and the question is, will she be able to make that case?
"I don't know, we'll have to see, but that's definitely her strategy. She's going to say, I was the sane one there for four years and when I left it all went to hell.''
LaSalvia — former executive director of GOProud, a conservative gay political group — said the U.S. is not taking terrorism seriously enough.
"Too many people have forgotten and especially this White House has forgotten what the War on Terror is,'' he said.
"It actually baffles me when I see this White House and Democrats in general — they have an inability to figure out who the good guy is and who the bad guy is, continually, all over the world.''
LaSalvia said the White House has a "fundamental misunderstanding'' of Russian President Vladimir Putin's ultimate plans.
"I don't think it takes a genius to realize his ultimate goal is to get the band back together and reconstitute in some form the Soviet Union and certainly Ukraine is an important piece of this,'' he said.
"I can't fathom how the Obama administration will be comfortable with him being the American president that let that happen when so many people worked for so long, so hard to destroy the Soviet Union. But that appears to be what's happening.''
