Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., insisted Thursday allegations are not always true when asked about Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician who withdrew his nomination to serve as Department of Veterans Affairs secretary over claims of misconduct.

Speaking on Newsmax TV's "America Talks Live," Paul said it is sad to see Jackson vilified in the media over allegations he overprescribed medication, got drunk on the job, and wrecked a car while drunk.
