Author Ronald Kessler: Media Bias Against Trump 'Disgusting'

By    |   Wednesday, 11 January 2017 05:08 PM EST

The double standard that exists in the biased media is "disgusting," The New York Times bestselling author Ronald Kessler told Newsmax TV.

Kessler blasted media reports about President-elect Donald Trump – from his business dealings to his New Year's Eve party – during Wednesday's appearance on "The Steve Malzberg Show."

"They are so dishonest," Kessler said. "They don't even realize how transparent their bias is. It's just disgusting."

Regarding the dossier that was made public Tuesday, a document that accuses Trump of, among other claims, having ties to Russia, Kessler said its veracity is already falling apart.

"All you need to know is that this material claimed that Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's general counsel at the Trump Organization, met secretly with Russian officials in Prague last summer," said Kessler, the author of "The First Family Detail."

"Well, Michael Cohen said he's never been to Prague. He showed his passport. He's never been there. That tells you everything you need to know about the accuracy of these claims. A lot of the media bias is unconscious."
