"We have too many people in our country who say the facts be damned," Ron Hosko told host Ed Berliner on "The Hard Line."
"It seems like we've learned nothing from what happened in Ferguson two years ago, where there was a rush to judgement, and all a lot of those citizens needed out there was a rope and a tree and Darren Wilson would've been hanging from it, only to find out three months later a local grand jury says 'no crime' and three months after that 'shame on Eric Holder.'
"The federal system, the U.S. Department of Justice says there was no crime. We seem to have learned nothing from that rush to judgment."
Police officers have been attacked and, in some cities, killed in recent weeks after African-Americans were shot and killed by police.
