The Democratic Party cannot say it won in Pennsylvania's special House election because victorious candidate Conor Lamb endorses much of President Donald Trump's agenda, Kayleigh McEnany, the national spokesperson for the Republican National Committee, told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"There was a Republican in truth, Rick Saccone, a true thoroughbred Republican who has proven his credentials . . . and then you had a fake Republican and that would be Conor Lamb, pro-tariff, pro-gun," McEnany told "Dr. Gina Loudon."
"This is not a victory for Democrats at all. What this proves is that if you act like Trump and endorse the Trump agenda, you can win in a Republican district. It's not that novel of a concept."

Lamb bested Saccone in special election matchup in Pennsylvania's 18th District by more than 600 votes.
He will fill the seat vacated by Tim Murphy, an anti-abortion Republican who resigned amid reports he asked a woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair to get an abortion when he thought she was pregnant.
