Newsmax and Hotwire Communications announced a new distribution deal to deliver Newsmax TV’s latest headlines, up-to-the-second political news and hard-hitting opinion to Hotwire’s markets throughout the Southeast.

Beginning Wednesday, March 25th, Newsmax TV, America’s fast-growing cable news network, will be available inSD on Channel 121 and in HD on Channel 540 via Hotwire’s Digital Access package.

Hotwire Communications, one of the Southeast’s leading telecom companies, is bringing Newsmax TV to its basic tier of video service across its footprint, including the following markets:

  • Florida — Miami/Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach/Fort Pierce, Fort Myers/Naples, Jacksonville/Brunswick, Tampa/St. Petersburg/Sarasota, Orlando/Daytona/Melbourne and Tallahassee/Thomasville
  • Georgia — Atlanta, Savannah
  • North Carolina — Raleigh/Durham/Fayetteville and Charlotte

“Newsmax is excited to have Hotwire on board as our newest affiliate, and we look forward to working together to deliver what its customers have been asking for — an alternative voice within news media.  And with Hotwire’s reach throughout these markets, Newsmax will be exposed to a broad audience seeking news they can trust,’’ said Andrew Biggers, Newsmax TV’s Senior Vice President of Content Distribution.

Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy said: “With this new agreement, Newsmax TV continues its rapid and unprecedented expansion across America. We are excited that thousands of new viewers will get to see what makes Newsmax one of the most powerful new voices in cable news media.”

Hotwire’s Executive Vice President, Jonathan Bullock said, “Hotwire looks forward to adding Newsmax TV to our lineup as our customers are constantly looking for additional and varied sources of news and information.”

Newsmax TV has had a red-hot run in recent months, having recently surpassed Bloomberg Television in total household reach, household coverage area rating, and average audience.  In fact, its household reach increased 156% compared the last week of August 2019 to 2.65 million households.
