John Zogby: Like NBC Show, Trump 'The Biggest Loser'

Pollster John Zogby told Newsmax TV on Tuesday that Donald Trump's second-place showing in the Iowa presidential caucuses would qualify him for a spot on "The Biggest Loser" reality show on NBC.

"Never once did Donald Trump mention the word 'America' at all," Zogby told host J.D. Hayworth during post-caucus coverage, referring to the billionaire's speech after he placed second with 24 percent of the vote. "Never once did he mention the Republican Party.

"He just talked about himself — and it was just empty, completely empty.

"There's going to be a new show on NBC," Zogby said. "It's called 'The Biggest Loser' — and that's what he emerged as tonight."

Both Zogby and political commentator Michael Reagan contrasted Trump's speech with that of rival Marco Rubio, who finished just one point behind Trump, at 23 percent.

"There's no vision," Reagan said, referring to Trump. "What's the vision?

"It's about Donald Trump: 'I'm 28 points up in Iowa. I love you here in Iowa. I love the people of Iowa' — and you really believe that somebody in his campaign said, don't ever go to Iowa?

"No," Reagan added. "If you listen to Donald Trump, it's all about Donald Trump. If you listen to Marco Rubio … it's about America, the vision for America — and where they want to take America.

"They don't want to take it to Trump Tower."
