A member of the House Appropriations Committee, Culberson assured Carr that emergency funding legislation would be pass quickly after Congress returns to work next week.
"We're going to pass an emergency appropriations bill next week very quickly to make sure that we get relief to these good people down here who have suffered so much in this terrible hurricane."
