Despite the apparent loss of Arizona and ballot counting extensions and delays in Pennsylvania, the Trump campaign still sees a path to 270 electoral college votes, according to Trump campaign legal adviser Jenna Ellis on Newsmax TV.
"In terms of the election, we're still hopeful Pennsylvania won't even matter," Ellis told host John Bachman on Election Night special coverage, pointing to the delays and potential legal challenges to the ballot-counting extentions imposed on the state. "There are several pathways even with Arizona, of course that was called for Biden.
"But with Texas, Newsmax has called that for President [Donald] Trump, we're still very, very optimistic that there's several pathways to 270, even without Pennsylvania."
Those paths include winning blue wall states like Michigan and Wisconsin, which would total 26 electoral votes to Pennsylvania's 20.
