Jeb on Trump's Profanity: SC Voters Find It 'Repugnant'

By    |   Tuesday, 16 February 2016 07:54 PM EST

Donald Trump's profane language during the presidential campaign has been "one of the unreported stories" that South Carolina voters find "repugnant," rival Jeb Bush told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"Here in South Carolina, my experience is people find it repugnant that he would use foul language in crowds where children exist," the former Florida governor told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth. "Those aren't South Carolina values."

Bush said that he earned the support of tea party leader Ken Crow over Trump because "there is an awareness that I have a proven track record — and it's the most conservative record on the stage.

"I could be commander-in-chief because we're living in dangerous times," Bush said. "Someone needs to have the back of the military, someone needs to have the back of the veterans.

"I've offered the most tangible plans and have the broadest support among traditional conservatives who believe that we need to restore our military to its greatness to protect us and to keep it safe."
