"In fact, he's running away from himself," he said about the Murphy, who defeated former Rep. Allen West in 2012.

Murphy's latest campaign ad describes the one term congressman as an independent member of Congress, the
Saint Peter's Blog reported.

The Florida Republican says that he's running on "a pro-growth, jobs agenda" that includes passing the Keystone XL Pipeline.
"We've got to lower the income tax rate for corporations, stop these inversions," he said. "We've got to reduce Obamacare . . . we've got to work on our national defense."
"We cannot afford to keep cutting our budget back — this is a very, very dangerous world," he added.
"Thirdly, we've got to do something about illegal immigration."
