Eric Trump, executive vice president of The Trump Organization, told Newsmax on Tuesday that he doesn't see GOP presidential contender Nikki Haley "having much of a future" after the evening's New Hampshire primary.
"I really think she's out tonight, and I think we're going to have an awesome evening," Trump said during an appearance on Newsmax's "American Agenda." "I mean, that's an early prediction, but if what I'm seeing on the ground matches up with what happens in the polls, I think we're going to have a beautiful, beautiful evening."
Haley is former President Donald Trump's lone challenger for the Republican presidential nomination after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended his campaign on Sunday and endorsed the former president. She has given no indication that she plans to exit the race.
Trump said the support he's been seeing on the ground in New Hampshire for his father has been "unbelievable," with "Trump signs everywhere."
"We've probably been in a car for two hours today, and everywhere we go, every 2 feet, there's another Trump sign," he said.
When asked directly if Haley has a path forward coming out of the New Hampshire primary, Trump was quick to answer, "No."
"Nevada doesn't really matter because she's never registered for the caucuses," he said. "And then South Carolina, we're gonna blow her out of the water on Super Tuesday. There is no road left for her. I mean, she's being funded by a lot of people. In the final hours of New Hampshire, I don't need to kind of bad mouth somebody but a lot of her funding's come from Reid Hoffman, the biggest Democrats, who hate my father, who is funding lawsuits against my father every single day. She's taking their money. She's taking money from the greatest RINOs [Republicans In Name Only] that we've ever had in this country. And by the way, guys, the RINOs are worse than a lot of the Democrats, I have to say."
He also said that he thinks "people look through" Haley and see a hawkishness that would drag the United States into global military conflicts.
"She wants to be involved in every war around the world, as opposed to my father, who never wanted war," Trump said. "He never brought America to war. He was the first president in U.S. history who didn't get into a war, and I think we should celebrate that; not promote the people who want the Pentagon to fight every single conflict around the globe while we waste hundreds of billions, if not trillions, of dollars doing that. We've learned our lessons from the Middle East over 20 years."
