Hillary Clinton's decision to lay blame of her stinging loss in the 2016 presidential race on others shows she cares only about herself, Deneen Borelli, a noted author, TV personality, and chief political correspondent for Conservative Review, told Newsmax TV.
Clinton told the Code Conference in California on Wednesday: "I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost." She cited "unprecedented" media coverage and "weaponized information" from fake news sources as strong forces in her loss.
"I take responsibility, but.' There's always a 'but.' She does live in a bubble, and she's not clueless, she just does not want to take responsibility for anything," Borelli told Newsmax host Steve Malzberg on Thursday.
"Look at how she left her supporters hanging election night. She doesn't care about anyone but herself. And that is evident on so many levels. . . .
"It's classic Clinton. I mean come on. What Clinton do you know has taken responsibility for anything? . . . She's doubling down, and every day she has to look in the mirror."
Borelli also called Clinton, the former secretary of state, "delusional."
"It's all about Hillary or it's all about Bill [Clinton]," she told Malzberg. "That's the way it's always been. So, it doesn't matter. Everyone gets thrown under the bus now because she lost."
Borelli, a Fox News contributor, is the author of "Blacklash: How Obama and the Left Are Driving Americans to the Government Plantation," published by Threshold Editions.
