Betsy McCaughey: Trump Has Been 'Unflappable'

Donald Trump has been "unflappable" in the Republican presidential debate Thursday in Detroit — and that makes him a strong debate challenger against Hillary Clinton in a general election, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey told Newsmax TV.

"Donald Trump has been a tower of strength," McCaughey told host J.D. Hayworth on the "Newsmax TV Debate Special" in an interview. "In some cases, it's been six against one — and he's been unflappable.

"This shows how strong he would be a negotiation with world leaders or with Democrats in Congress — and how capable he might be on a debate state against Hillary Clinton."
