The Hooiser State holds its primary on Tuesday, carrying 57 delegates.
Donald Trump beat Cruz and John Kasich in all five states holding primaries on Tuesday: Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
Morris said that John Kasich's vote would be critical to see whether his alliance with Cruz was effective.
"That will tell you whether this alliance is having any real impact," he told Hayworth. "In some of the states, the final polling had Kasich ahead of Cruz. In Pennsylvania, it had Cruz ahead of Kasich.
"In Delaware, Kasich was ahead. In Rhode Island, Cruz was ahead.
"I want to see if there's an amalgamation of those votes," Morris added. "These five states were not among the ones enumerated in their deal.
"Their deal was focused only on Indiana, where basically Cruz was the candidate, and Oregon and New Mexico, where Kasich would be.
"It would be very interesting to see if there is a shift towards Cruz in this election when they battle for second place."
