Dick Morris: Emails FBI Found May Contain 'Smoking Gun' Against Hillary

The thousands of emails that the FBI found in its investigation of Hillary Clinton's private server use "may contain a smoking gun," political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV on Thursday.

"They have not been revealed and [the State Department] has asked the judge for permission … to not to reveal them until mid-2018 because of the time it would take to process them," Morris told "The Hard Line" host Ed Berliner. "I expect a judge will tell them to go fly a kite and demand they be revealed real soon."

Morris said that the emails, which were not among the 30,000 that Clinton turned over to the State Department, included one of three "fruitful areas of additional inquiry."

"One … is, did she lie to Congress?" he told Berliner. "The second is what happened in the meeting between [Attorney General Loretta] Lynch and Bill Clinton?

"They both should be put under oath. They both should be questioned extensively about that."
Morris is author of the new book "Armageddon: How Trump Can Beat Hillary" with Eileen McGann, out this week and available at bookstores everywhere and online at both Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
