Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski predicted to Newsmax TV on Wednesday that embattled Minnesota Democratic Sen. Al Franken "is finally going to do the right thing and step down from the United States Senate because he is a disgusting pig."

"Al Franken doesn't have allegations against him," Lewandowski, 44, now a political consultant, told "Newsmax Now" host Bill Tucker in an interview.

"We have video — pictures — of him groping women while they're sleeping on an airplane, and he did it as a joke.

"He's come out and admitted publicly that he's did these disgusting things."

Lewandowki's co-wrote the new book, "Let Trump Be Trump: The Inside Story of His Rise to the Presidency" on the 2016 presidential campaign.

"These aren't allegations," he told Tucker. "These are factual, that he has agreed has happened."

But Democrats did not demand Franken step down until another woman came forward Wednesday, saying he forcibly tried to kiss her in 2006, Lewandowski noted.

That brought to at least seven the number of women accusing the two-term senator of sexual impropriety.

However, an eighth woman — Tina Dupuy, a progressive radio talk-show host and former congressional staffer — wrote in The Atlantic on Wednesday that Franken groped her during a photo opportunity in 2009.

"There was no call before [Wednesday], when there was concrete evidence that Al Franken was groping women while they were sleeping or while they're awake all the time," Lewandowski told Tucker.

"There was no call for his resignation until another person came out."

That is the difference between Franken and Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama, Lewandowski observed.

"He has been accused of something," he told Tucker of the former Alabama Supreme Court judge, "and he is due his day in court.

"But it is up to the people of Alabama to decide if what he's accused of, he did."
