Attorney Bobb to Newsmax: Hearing Won't Go Well for Willis

By    |   Monday, 05 February 2024 09:41 PM EST

Christina Bobb, an attorney representing former President Donald Trump's Save America PAC, told Newsmax on Monday that she doesn't expect next week's hearing in Fulton County, Georgia, to go well for embattled District Attorney Fani Willis.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee will hear arguments on Feb. 15 regarding a motion that Willis' improper relationship with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade was a conflict of interest that should result in indictments for election tampering getting thrown out and Willis removed from the case.

Bobb told "Eric Bolling The Balance" that the events of the past few weeks have snowballed on Willis.

"I don't think this is gonna play out well for her," Bobb told Bolling.

"She's pretty much been caught in a lie, saying that she didn't have an improper relationship. And oh, by the way, it was just a sexual relationship. And oh, by the way, she just happened to pay him over $650,000 over the course of a couple months," Bobb added. "I don't know any other prosecutor that's bringing in that kind of payment. And oh, by the way, they just so happen to have a romantic getaway paid for by the money that was paid by taxpayers going to Nathan Wade."

And Monday, another co-defendant in the case, David Shafer, filed a motion that accused Willis of "prosecutorial, forensic misconduct" for a speech she recently gave that was designed to "inject and infect the jury pool" by blaming racism for woes that she created.

"Another defendant also filed a motion saying that her speech over the Martin Luther King holiday, claiming that this is all about race and has nothing to do with the law, playing the victim card as a female Black person and that Nathan Wade is being targeted because he's Black, not because she's sleeping with him and paying him and possibly taking kickbacks," Bobb said.

"It doesn't look good for her. I don't think the judge is going to overlook this. I think he knows that it will go very badly for him. I think it will cause a big uprising if there isn't some type of pushback on this," Bobb added.
