Ex-Bush Official Questions Rand Paul's Political Heft

Christian Whiton, a State Department senior adviser under President George W. Bush, appeared on "MidPoint" with host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV Thursday to question whether Sen. Rand Paul, libertarian darling, has the political and intellectual heft to run for president as a Republican, given Paul's about-faces on U.S. military action against ISIS and the U.S. Civil Rights Act.
