Bill Kristol has criticized Donald Trump for months over his policies and shoot-from-the-lip insults aimed at other candidates, but the editor of The Weekly Standard says he could change his mind about supporting the billionaire developer and GOP presidential front-runner.
"For me it's more of a matter of character. I don't know that you can change your character at age 69 and given the things he's said even very recently about other people, the way he demeans other people …" Kristol said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on

"But I guess never say never. I'm more of a 'Never Trump' [person]. And on the other hand I'll say … never say never. I'll leave it to that."
Kristol said he would still favor a third-party candidate jumping into the race if Trump ends up being the nominee.
"It would be good to have someone who would help the Republicans, to get voters out who don't want to vote for Trump," Kristol told Malzberg.
