Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's presidential campaign eventually won't look viable, and he'll have to drop out, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey tells

"He would have to win Florida to even be slightly plausible, but the fact is the same delusional egos that allowed mere mortals to run for president, they allow them to kid themselves into staying in longer than they're actually viable," McCaughey said Wednesday on "Newsmax Now."

Rubio did win Minnesota on Super Tuesday and finished a close second to Donald Trump in Virginia. But the only thing that really slowed down Trump's delegate collection was Ted Cruz's win of his home state of Texas, which had 155 total delegates, she said.
"It's mere arithmetic. There's nothing slowing down about Donald Trump's campaign," McCaughey said.
