President Donald Trump aimed a tweet Saturday at the women's marches occurring all over the country, telling people involved it is a good day to remember all the achievements made in the first year of his administration.

"Beautiful weather all over our great country, a perfect day for all Women to March," Trump tweeted. "Get out there now to celebrate the historic milestones and unprecedented economic success and wealth creation that has taken place over the last 12 months. Lowest female unemployment in 18 years!"

The marches, set this year on the one-year anniversary of the president's inauguration, are not being held to celebrate the achievements he touted in the tweet, but rather to in opposition to him and his tenure.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi retweeted Trump's message, adding a five-word statement of her own:

This year's march comes a year after more than three million people hit the streets last Jan. 21, one day after Trump was inaugurated, to protest his election with a flagship rally being held in Washington, D.C., and other protests held worldwide.

This year's march totals are smaller, but hope to deliver a message of attracting more women to become involved in the 2018 midterm elections. A record number of women are seeking election in 2018.
