Willie Robertson, a star on the reality show "Duck Dynasty," will join Fox News as a paid correspondent on Monday with the introduction of his own radio podcast, according to The Daily Beast
. He will make appearances across Fox News programming.
The 45-minute weekly podcast show for Fox News Radio will highlight Robertson's views on politics, celebrities, faith and family, among other subjects, said The Wrap
Robertson is chief executive of Duck Commander, the million-dollar duck call business based in West Monroe, Louisiana, started by his father Phil Robertson, per the Duck Commander website
"The topics would be a natural for Robertson, who has made no secret of his Christian beliefs and conservative values," said The Wrap, noting he is a supporter of Donald Trump for president.

"He's not afraid to tell it like it is," Robertson said of Trump then, according to a news release

Fox News and Trump have had a strained relationship, especially over the Republican frontrunner's long-running feud with talk show host Megyn Kelly, noted Deadline.com

Willie Robertson is also the executive producer of "Duck Dynasty" and the Outdoor Channel's "Buck Commander," according to his Duck Commander biography. His daughter Sadie Robertson finished second to Alfonso Riberio on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2014, noted The Blaze
