Donald Trump's biographer offered Hillary Clinton's campaign nine hours of recorded interviews with the GOP nominee, The Daily Caller reports.

A representative for the author, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Michael D'Antonio, reached out to the Clinton campaign with the offer.

"Per our conversation, John Manly is close to Michael D'Antonio (who wrote Never Enough about Trump) and Michael wants to meet with the Clinton campaign's opposition research team," reads a March 4 email entitled "Opposition research," from Democratic party fundraiser Janet Keller.

"He does not want to be paid. And he has 9 hours of taped conversations with Donald Trump," Keller continued. The email was released Monday by WikiLeaks, along with others from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. It's not clear from the emails if the Clinton campaign did or did not contact D'Antonio.

"Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success" was published last year. According to The New York Times, D'Antonio lost his access to Trump while writing the book after he and his research assistant interviewed one of the billionaire's enemies.

"It might be more likely that another horrible thing is going to happen for Trump. There's got to be more video and audio out there," D'Antonio told Politico in an interview.

D'Antonio did share a transcript of his interview with Donald Trump Jr. with Buzzfeed News, where Trump Jr. praised his father for standing by his doubts about President Barack Obama's citizenship.

"I appreciate someone who has the moral conviction to stand by a belief, or even question it," Trump Jr. said. "What's wrong with questioning something these days? Whether it be political spectrum, across a racial divide, it's increasingly difficult for — and this is coming from, I'm the white privileged son of a rich guy — there is a point where I'm not even allowed to have this conversation in America today, which again, I can have it, but it's a no-win proposition for me."
