Darrell Brooks, the man who drove his car through the 2021 Waukesha, Wisconsin Christmas parade, injuring dozens and convicted of killing six, has filed his notice of intent to appeal, court records indicate.
The Washington Examiner reported that Judge Jennifer Dorow sentenced Brooks to six life sentences earlier this month. The jury found the Wisconsin man guilty on all 76 criminal charges.
Brooks faced, the Examiner adds, "six counts of first-degree homicide, 61 counts of recklessly endangering safety with the use of a dangerous weapon, six counts of fatal hit-and-run, two counts of felony bail jumping, and one count of misdemeanor domestic battery."
