The wife of Vladimir Putin's aide is drawing ire for what media outlets are referring to as a "Holocaust-themed" skating performance.

Tatiana Navka, married to Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov and a 2006 Olympic gold medalist, wore striped concentration-camp uniforms with yellow Star of David patches during an appearance on the Russian reality show "Ice Age" on Saturday. The former figure skating champion often makes appearances on the show as a professional ice dancer and was competing with partner Andrei Burkovsky.

Their routine, which included "bizarre miming sequences" and Navka "pretending to shoot her partner" according to The Sun, drew applause from the crowd but was criticized on social media.

The Jerusalem Post called the performance "chilling" and noted that it wasn't the first time where skaters dressed in holocaust-themed outfits performed on Russian television in a reality show.
