CNN host Reza Aslan has a history of using profanity in his tweets to attack President Donald Trump and his supporters, The Washington Free Beacon reported.
Aslan, the Iranian-American religious studies expert who hosts CNN's show "Believer," called Trump a "piece of sh–" over the weekend for asking the courts to resurrect his travel ban following the London attacks. He later deleted the tweet and issued an apology after he was slammed for the comment, explaining he lost his cool and using profanity was "not like me."
But the Free Beacon uncovered a tweet Aslan deleted where he used similar language to describe Trump and his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.
Aslan's twitter account still has numerous profane tweets dating back to 2012, including one where he said he hoped then-Republican Rep. and Missouri senatorial candidate Todd Akin would be raped.
He also called Fox News host Sean Hannity a "piece of sh–" after he tweeted he was trying to get to the bottom of Seth Rich's killing for his family.
