President Donald Trump sent out a tweet on Wednesday demanding justice so that the unfair targeting of a president can never happen again.

Trump sent the message in reaction to a tweet by Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin that “There are high expectations that the Justice Dept will very soon deliver transparency & ACCOUNTABILITY regarding DOJ/FBI officials who weaponized the awesome powers at their disposal in order to target the Trump campaign. Frustrated Americans demand justice! It’s LONG overdue!”

Trump’s tweet was just one in a slew of messages he sent on Twitter Wednesday, mostly numerous re-tweets of Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

One such message was that "[The Deep State] is concerned that AG [William] Barr might do the right thing and they are desperate to do everything to stop him from prosecuting the criminal gangs that targeted @realDonaldTrump and other innocent Americans.”

This comment came following calls over the past week for Barr to resign for intervening in the case of Roger Stone, President Donald Trump's longtime ally and confidant. The president criticized the 7-9 year sentence recommended for Stone in a tweet last week, after which the Department of Justice announced it was changing its recommendation to a much lighter sentence, sparking the four prosecutors working on the case to resign from it, according to The Hill.

Another Fitton message that Trump re-tweeted Wednesday was that “Barr should clean house at DOJ...@realDonalldTrump,was the victim of a seditious conspiracy out of DOJ/FBI, etc. President Trump can also appoint a special counsel directly.”
