President Joe Biden and billionaire Elon Musk responded Friday to Donald Trump's mug shot, calling the former president "handsome" and the mug shot "next-level," respectively.
"I did see it on television,' Biden said when asked by reporters near Lake Tahoe. "Handsome guy."
Musk, who owns X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed out that Trump chose the mug shot for his first post on the social media platform since the prior owners banned him after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
"Next-level," Musk posted on X.
Trump informed Fox News that he agreed to take the mug shot Thursday after being fingerprinted and booked by authorities in Fulton County, Georgia.
"They insisted on a mug shot, and I agreed to do that," the former president revealed. "This is the only time I've ever taken a mug shot."
"It is not a comfortable feeling — especially when you've done nothing wrong," he added.
Earlier this month, Trump was indicted alongside 18 other co-defendants by an Atlanta grand jury at the behest of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' office for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election.
